Jayda K Fransen - Paralegal
Jayda has been attending an evening course (after working VERY hard in the office all day, and WOW she does work hard!) and has successfully completed a University of London Diploma in Law. Jayda was the only one out of the people with her on the University of London Diploma in Law course at Croydon College to pass everything first time. Her aim is to qualify as a solicitor.
Jayda is now continuing towards the LLB Law Degree by home study after a false start at Wimbledon College.
We would have no hesitation in offering Jayda a training contract once she has passed the Legal Practice Course.
Jayda is not one for blowing her own trumpet so let the clients do it for her:
Mr SB to the Principal: “When are you making Jayda a partner?”
The Principal: “I can't; she isn't a qualified solicitor.”
Mr SB to the Principal: “Not a qualified solicitor? We find her very impressive.”

“Regarding Jayda's ingenuity, there have been many examples:
- Firstly her patience when one sale took nearly over a year, not through our fault
but through the Seller.
- Another when there was no planning permission on a building in a garden and
she took out an indemnity policy that we paid for that would cover the buyer;
without this there would have been no sale.
- Dealing with an extremely tough customer, a company that checked every
building aspect of the house, damp, electrics, rot, subsidence, air flow etc etc.
There are many more examples, but she made them feel as if they were just part of the
process and we all took them in our stride.
Jayda's best trait is her patience and continuous dedication to each client.
I hope that the Law Society will be able to see her as a real benefit.
There cannot be many women Solicitors like her.”
